Our client in Galway got in touch to find a solution to allow wheelchair access to an older building in Galway. Following on site consultation, MMS Medical were commissioned to install the Barduva RB 150 external platform lift. The MMS team put the clients mind at ease ensuring that the platform lift would fit seamless into the existing building’s beautiful courtyard – marrying an older building with up to date platform lift technology.
Limited ground works were necessary as the Barduva RB150 is specifically designed for applications with little or no alterations to existing buildings. The lift was installed externally to accommodate wheelchair users to access  a step down area within the building. The open type design offers an aesthetically pleasing solution with brushed stainless steel finish as option.
