These purpose-built toilets are larger than standard accessible restrooms and include essential equipment like a height-adjustable adult-sized changing bench, a ceiling track hoist system, and a centrally located toilet with space on both sides for assistants.

Iarnród Éireann has equipped several major stations with Changing Places toilets, often requiring a key for access to ensure the facilities remain available for those who need them.
