This is a moulded mixed cushion composed of a high reticulation polyurethane gel and a highly resistant, high density polyurethane foam.
The addition of a FOAM base has improved the cushions effectiveness as a result of the improved absorption of bony protuberances. This is bought about by the spread of pressure as a result of the increase in the support area.
The gel and foam combination is obtained by moulding which provides the patient with a greater sensation of comfort and stability and avoids any movement of the gel towards the foam.
